Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Deputy First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for International Affairs and Regional Cooperation.

The meeting focused on discussing the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in key areas: trade and economics, investment, and transportation.

Both parties expressed mutual interest in achieving sustainable and balanced growth in bilateral trade and agreed on specific steps to advance in this direction.

Additionally, an agreement was reached to hold the 16th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission in Tehran in May of this year, along with a joint business forum and the “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition.

These events will serve as important platforms for promoting Uzbek products in the Iranian market and fostering dialogue between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
