Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During her working visit to Saint Petersburg for the Council session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, held a meeting with the Chairperson of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova.

During the negotiations, both sides highlighted the steady development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations, which are based on strategic partnership and a trustful dialogue between the heads of state.
