UzLiDeP considers privatization of state property

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Surkhandarya regional Council of Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) held a practical dialogue entitled “Actual issues of privatization of the state property in the country”.
The participants discussed issues of privatization of the state property and legislation in this area. It was noted that adopted measures on sales of the state assets helped to develop small and private businesses.
Uzbek government regularly examines states assets and hands over unused premises or incomplete objects to the private businesses, which helps to attract investments and create new jobs
It was noted that the State Property Committee sold three objects in Surkhandarya region in past period of 2014. It was planned to eliminate 58 unused and incomplete objects in the region and create three small industrial enterprises and realize 16 projects at the territory of 78.1 hectares. So far, six projects were implemented.
It was said that some nine objects will be realized at auction, which will take place on 29 September, which will help to create new 90 jobs due to investments.
At the event, the specialists presented information on norms and requirements directed at simplification of order of privatization of the state objects.
