A criminal case opened against the management of “Oqtepa Lavash”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4-7 June 2019, only 49 citizens, living in the city of Tashkent were diagnosed with "foodborne toxicoinfection" in the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, infectious disease hospitals number 2 and 5.
The inspection found that these citizens, before going to the hospital, consumed fast food (“sandwich”, “pita” and “pizza”) at 3 “Oqtepa lavash” catering facilities in Tashkent.
On this fact, on 7 June 2019, the prosecutor of the city of Tashkent opened against the officials of “Grand Azia Plus” LLC and others initiated a criminal case under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At present, investigations are being carried out in a criminal case by the prosecutor’s office of the city of Tashkent.
