New energy capacities to speed up industrial development
On 20 August 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel, Said Rustamov, met with Simon Fisher, executive director of the Israeli non-profit charitable organization Save a Child’s Heart - SACH. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
Two combined-cycle plants with a capacity of 230-280 MW each are under construction at Takhiatash Thermal Power Station.
To ensure the solution of tasks related to the accelerated implementation of projects set by Uzbekistan’s leadership, NAPU is introducing an automated information system “Controlling and monitoring of investment projects”.

From the first day of 2020, the rebate system will be launched and the exhibition of domestic film locations LocationEXPOuz will be held for the first time.

From 14 to 18 August, the 2nd International Forum of Ancient Cities was held in Ryazan (Russia), which presents the tourism potential of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. The forum has been held on an annual basis since 2018 in order to present the unique culture and history of ancient cities that are more than 500 years old.
