Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new refrigerated warehouse was put into operation at the cargo terminal of Tashkent airport.

The new warehouse was built and put into operation to provide appropriate conditions for exporters and importers of agricultural and pharmaceutical products until the completion of the construction of a new cargo complex at Tashkent airport.

The area of the warehouse is 350 sq.m., and its throughput capacity is 100-120 tons of cargo per day.

The warehouse is equipped with modern equipment, which allows you to adjust temperature conditions from –5ºC to +25ºC, ensuring the storage of perishable agricultural and pharmaceutical products that require certain temperature conditions.

It is important to note that cold storage facilities are also available in the cargo terminals of regional airports. At Fergana International Airport, a warehouse with a total area of 312 sq.m. with a throughput capacity of 100 tons per day is designed for storing agricultural products and food products.

At the Navoi airport, a refrigerated warehouse with an area of 720 sq.m allows for the simultaneous storage of perishable products with a volume of up to 200 tons per day.
