Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – UzGasTrade joint stock company registered an initial issue of shares for 10 billion soums.

The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan registered the issue of the company’s shares. All shares of this issue will be placed with the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 16 June 2022, from 1 August 2022, UzGasTrade purchases natural gas from producers as a single state operator at prices approved by the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission and centrally through imports from external sources.

The company sells natural gas to Khududgaztaminot JSC and consumers connected to the main gas transmission system on the basis of direct contracts, including a single exporter, except as provided for by decisions of the President of Uzbekistan.
