Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Ogorodnikov. The parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector and explored promising joint projects.

Particular attention was given to Belarusian expertise in agricultural product processing. The ambassador highlighted the strong interest of Belarusian companies in Uzbek fruits and vegetables, praising their high quality and unique taste.

The minister, in turn, emphasized the significance of the Servolux Group project for poultry production and processing in the Tashkent region, noting its mutual benefits for both countries.

Discussions also covered cooperation in baby food production, dairy products, blueberry cultivation, potato farming, and the mechanization of the agricultural sector.

Following the talks, the two sides agreed to develop a package of joint projects in priority areas.
