More than 30 new jobs were crated at the Uzbek-Russian Mos-Yan-Teks Joint Venture after the installation of new equipment, UzA reported.

The enterprise specialized in the production of knits employs over 70 women. The company’s products have found demand in the local and foreign markets. Last year, the enterprise exported about 80% of its products for the total amount of some 200 million soums.

"The new equipment allows us to expand the scale of production and to increase export volumes," said the head of the company Akram Haydarov. "We are currently taking measures to attract home-based workers, and diversify the products."
