Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In 2023, leasing companies of Uzbekistan concluded more than 7,500 new transactions worth almost 4 trillion soums, which is 26% higher compared to the same period in 2022. These data were presented at the meeting of the Leasing Association of Uzbekistan.

In total, the total volume of leasing operations in Uzbekistan over the past period reached 7.4 trillion soums

To date, there are about 150 companies operating in the leasing services market of the republic, while only 40 of them are actively engaged in leasing activities.

About 36.6% of transactions are related to agricultural machinery. The share of motor transport in the total volume of transactions is 27%. Construction machinery and equipment rank third with a share of 17.5%.

In 2023, the leaders in the lessor market were Mikro Leasing (742.5 billion soums), Uzbek Leasing International A.O. (604.7 billion soums) and Orient Finance (434.3 billion soums).
