Tashkent to host a concert of classical chamber music by a French quartet

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, in partnership with the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, invites all classical chamber music enthusiasts to a concert by the Élysée Quartet. Founded in 1995 from two renowned quartets, the Élysée Quartet has gained recognition for its artistic depth and precision.

The musicians complement each other, combining professionalism and precision, which allows them to explore diverse ideas, create new dimensions in music interpretation, and enhance expressive power.

The Élysée Quartet has performed in many European countries, including England, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, as well as in Israel, Japan, China, Canada, Nicaragua, and Russia. They have graced major venues such as the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Salle Cortot in Paris, Kioi Hall in Tokyo, and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. The quartet has been lauded by both the press (Diapason, Classica) and the public.

The quartet consists of Vadim Tchijik and Pablo Schatzman on violin, Emmanuel Haratyk on viola, and Igor Kiritchenko on cello.

The concert program will feature works by composers such as Rachmaninoff, Lyatoshinsky, and Debussy.

The performance will take place in the organ hall of the State Conservatory on Thursday, October 17, at 7:00 PM.
