South Korea to assist Uzbekistan in reforming financing of healthcare
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ministry of finance of Uzbekistan hosted a preliminary meeting with representatives of Korea Development Institute (KDI) within the implementation of the project “Development of strategy for improving budget process and ensure efficiency of budget expenditures in healthcare in Uzbekistan”.
The KDI officials presented information to the Uzbek side on results, achieved within the Knowledge Share Programme (KSP) in 2014. Besides, they briefed the Uzbek officials on priority directions of project directions for 2015.
At the meeting, the officials of the Uzbek Finance Ministry proved actuality of selected topic for the projects and outlined expected results from its realization.
The sides noted that implementation of the project will allow to improve efficiency of budget expenses in healthcare sphere in Uzbekistan.
The sides reached agreement on attracting highly skilled specialists and support project in its implementation period.
