World Bank approves $68 million to increase productivity and sustainability of agriculture in Republic of Uzbekistan

The World Bank Board of Directors today approved a US$68 million IDA credit for the second phase of the Uzbekistan Rural Enterprise Support Project (RESP II). The Project will assist the newly independent farmers to increase the productivity and financial and environmental sustainability of agriculture and the profitability of agribusiness.
