Uzbekistan privatized over 394 enterprises and objects within the framework of the implementation of the Programme on Decentralization and Privatization, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

Uzbekenergo to attract US$300m in 2008-2010

Uzbekenergo (Uzbek Energy) state joint stock company, the state-owned energy supplier, is planning to attract US$300 million to realization of four projects in sphere of production of electricity and energy infrastructure, the chairman of the company Batir Teshabaev said at the opening of the Power Uzbekistan 2007 exhibition.
