Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 January, as part of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai.

During the meeting, the successful conclusion of high-level negotiations was highly praised, resulting in the elevation of Uzbek-UAE relations to the level of strategic partnership.

The parties noted with satisfaction the successful contacts and productive cooperation in areas such as improving the effectiveness of public administration and the training of management personnel.

The talks also led to an agreement on the development and implementation of new projects in high technologies, digitalization, infrastructure development, and other promising areas.

Special attention was given to cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, with a focus on the development of this area in Uzbekistan with the support of Emirati partners.

The discussion also covered the potential application of advanced urban planning solutions from Dubai, including the creation of modern infrastructure in New Tashkent.

The parties agreed to continue active dialogue and deepen comprehensive cooperation in all areas of practical interaction.
