Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Decree “On measures to expand the network of specialized schools and further improve their activities” was adopted.

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the practice of conducting training sessions with the participation of academicians of the Academy of Sciences will be introduced in schools of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions system.

In these schools:

- classes will be organized aimed at developing students’ invention skills;
- assistance will be provided to students in the development of practical projects and their implementation;
- students will be actively involved in production processes, and will also be familiar with projects carried out in scientific laboratories of the Academy of Sciences system;
- “Young Academicians” clubs will be organized to develop innovative ideas and developments of students.

Every year, “Step to Invention” competitions will be held among students of general secondary educational institutions, with the goal of creating new products or services in the fields of education, information technology, green energy, ecology, climate change and agriculture.
