Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The “Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference” was held in Dubai, with the participation of the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov.

The main goal of the event was to present the conditions in the field of information technology (IT) of Uzbekistan to representatives of foreign businesses.

The conference was attended by representatives of 57 companies from the ICT sector of the UAE and the Middle East. Speakers at the event included Asif Khader, Managing Director of Kanoo Group, Amol Chauhan, Vice President of Amity Group, Sean McEllen, IDA Ireland Middle East Consultant, and Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Bank Uzbekistan.

Participants discussed issues of business support from the government of Uzbekistan, the potential of youth and the creation of an International Center for Digital Technologies in the IT Park.

From 1 June 2024, the Center will introduce a special legal regime for foreign companies for a period of up to 5 years.

The guests who gathered at the event emphasized the rapid growth of our country and attention to youth, emphasizing that this is the main pillar of the country's development.

During the event, B2B meetings were organized between 7 residents of the IT park, who came with a desire to further increase their export potential, as well as company managers who expressed interest in their services.

Business executives who attended the event were invited to the “Outsourcing Tour” event, which is planned to be held in Tashkent and Samarkand in March this year.
