Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 February, a meeting was held between the Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev and the head of the “Support of International Relations” direction of X5 Group Maria Exler. This was reported by the press service of the Trade Representation of Russia in Uzbekistan.
X5 Group is a Russian retail trading company that manages the food retail chains Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Chizhik.
At the meeting, a representative of the Russian company spoke about current cooperation with Uzbek suppliers and immediate plans for the future.
In turn, Konstantin Zlygostev noted that serious work is underway to develop the Agroexpress logistics project, which will make a great contribution to the expansion of bilateral trade in food products.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on a regular “check-in” on ongoing projects.
The trade mission also expressed its readiness to provide the necessary consulting and other assistance to the Russian company.
