Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Boxer from Uzbekistan Murodjon Akhmadaliev won a fight against Kevin Gonzalez from Mexico, inflicting the first defeat in his professional career.

The fight, which took place in Arizona (USA), was organized in the light heavyweight division and ended in the eighth round with a knockout in favor of the boxer from Uzbekistan.

Murodjon Akhmadaliev fought in 12 fights in his career, winning 11 of them. In April he lost to Marlon Tapales and lost the WBA and IBF belts.

Kevin Gonzalez, who had 27 fights and won 25 bouts, suffered his first defeat in this fight. Another fight ended in a draw.
