Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, the volume of transit cargo transported (by road and rail) across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-September 2023 made up 6.8 million tons.

About 5.46 million tons were shipped by rail (in relation to the total volume of cargo 80.3%), by road – 1.33 million tons (in relation to the total volume of cargo 19.7%).
