Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The exhibition “Road to Samarkand. Miracles of Silk and Gold”, dedicated to arts and crafts and national costume, ended its work in Paris, France.

The exhibition was opened at the end of November 2022 at the Arab World Institute in Paris. For the first time, the European public was able to get acquainted with the objects of decorative and applied art of Uzbekistan: a collection of textiles, clothing and footwear, headwear and jewelry. The exposition includes more than 300 exhibits from the collections of 9 museums of Uzbekistan.

The project was a great success with the European public. Since its opening, more than 185,000 spectators have visited it.

The exhibition “Road to Samarkand. Miracles of Silk and Gold” was organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
