Uzbekistan U-20 loses to Argentina

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan U-20 lost to Argentina in the first match of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

The match ended with the score 2:1 in favor of the Argentines.

Midfielder of the national team of Uzbekistan Mahmudjon Makhamadjanov opened the scoring in the 23rd minute of the match, breaking into the near corner.

Argentina striker Alejo Velis equalized after 4 minutes. In the 41st minute of the match, Valetin Carboni scored the winning goal for Argentina.

In the other Group A match, New Zealand defeated Guatemala with the score 1:0.
