MND France is ready to start construction of the international all-season resort "Chimgan"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French company Montagne et Neige Développement (MND) was declared the winner of a tender announced by a state unitary enterprise tourist zone "Chimyon".

In this regard, at the 9th meeting of the Uzbek-French Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, in Tashkent, a contract was signed for the construction of facilities for the all-season resort "Chimgan", between the Project Office for the construction and operation of the international all-season resort "Beldersay - Chimgan - Nanai and the French company Montagne et Neige Développement.

As a result of the implementation of this project, an all-season mountain park of international level will be created, which will offer both residents of our country and foreign visitors a wide range of different types of outdoor recreation.

Within the framework of the project, an intermediate gondola-type cable car for 10 people (maximum capacity - 2,000 people / h), which will rise to a height of 2,515 meters and a main pendulum-type cable car for 80 people (maximum capacity - 800 people / h) will be built , which will lift visitors to a height of 3,309 meters - and will become the highest point in the countries of Central Asia, where there are such facilities. More than 20 types of winter and summer attractions will also be organized: XXL Zip line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, Tubing, Via ferrata, 11 ski slopes with different difficulty levels with a total length of more than 20 km, hotel complexes and cottages for 6,000 tourist places will be built .

The main goals of the unique initiative are the development of the tourism infrastructure of Tashkent region, the promotion and creation of conditions for mass sports in the mountainous regions of the country, the creation of new jobs and an increase in the investment attractiveness of the region through the construction of an all-season resort of international scale, tourist places and new cable cars with various entertainments.

As a result, an international resort will be created with a total capacity of 3.1 million people per year and 451 new jobs.
