Uzbekistan and Russia discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of road safety

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 March, a delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, arrived in Moscow, Russia.

The purpose of the trip is to study the Russian experience of public transport, the exchange of experience between ministries in the field of traffic management, as well as the establishment of bilateral cooperation with educational institutions in the training of specialists in the field of road safety.

As part of the trips, visits to the Mosgostrans State Unitary Enterprise, the Center for Traffic Management of the Moscow Government, meetings with heads of IT companies and educational institutions are planned. At the same time, meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation will be held to exchange experiences.

Based on the meetings held, relevant proposals will be developed to improve the national legislation governing the public transport system and road safety, digitalize roads, attract specialists to organize road infrastructure and train employees in these areas.
