Ministry of Culture and Tourism is recognized as the "Ministry of Tourism of the Year in Central Asia" in Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the annual Patwa International Travel Awards 2023 event in Berlin, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan was presented with the prestigious award "Best Ministry of Tourism of the Year in Central Asia". The award was accepted by the First Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Ulugbek Azamov.

It is worth noting that PATWA annually organizes the Patwa International Travel Awards event as part of the world’s largest travel fair, ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin). The event was attended by more than 7 thousand journalists, exhibitors and experts in the field of tourism from 180 countries.

The Patwa International Travel Awards are given to individuals and organizations involved in tourism development such as aviation, hotels, travel agencies and operators, tourism destinations, government agencies, ministries and other service providers.

At the tourist exhibition "ITB Berlin", which was held on 7-9 March in Berlin, the national stand of Uzbekistan was presented.
