The winners of the National Prize in the field of culture and art "Stars of New Uzbekistan" announced

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 January, a ceremony of presenting the national award in the field of culture and art "Stars of New Uzbekistan" was held in Tashkent.

Opening the ceremony, Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov stressed that the award ceremony, established on the basis of the relevant resolution of the head of state and the Cabinet of Ministers, was held for the first time in the history of New Uzbekistan.

“Most importantly, the candidates were determined by online voting by the general public based on the principle of openness and transparency on the platform of national competitions,” the minister said. “More precisely, those who today were recognized as the best in their field were objectively evaluated by the people.”

It is worth noting that the nominees for the award were selected in 20 nominations among representatives of the theater, circus, pop, traditional, academic, folklore, composer, dance, as well as fine and applied arts, artistic creativity and other areas of culture and art.

Best Traditional Singer of the Year - Khushnud Solijanov

Best Traditional Singer of the Year - Gulbakhor Erkulova

Color Image Artist of the Year - Zebiniso Sharipova

The best sculptor of the year - Batyr Khakimov

The best librarian of the year - Farkhad Juraev

The best ministerial TV project of the year - "Actor"

Best Spiritual Preacher of the Year - Jamila Shermukhamedova

Best poet of the year - Batyr Ergashev

Best composer of the year - Nadir Umarov

Best dancer of the year - Dilnoza Artykova

The best musician of the year - Daniyar Yunusov

The best artistic team of the year - "Sugdiyona" Chamber Orchestra of Uzbek Folk Instruments

Best theater actor of the year - Abror Mukhiddinov

Best theater actress of the year - Gulasal Rakhmanova

Best Circus Artist of the Year - Steika Veronica

Best theater director of the year - Askar Kholmuminov

Best young Bakhshi of the year - Uldavlet Sarsenbayeva

Best opera performer of the year - Umid Israilov

Best pop singer of the year - Nilufar Usmanova

The best pop singer of the year - Jalaliddin Akhmadaliyev
