Uzbekistan to host Week of Youth Tourism
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Starting from 2023, the Week of Youth Tourism will be held in the first ten days of January.
The purpose of the week is to organize youth excursion trips to the sights of the republic on the basis of seasonal preferential tourist packages on holidays, organize trips for students of higher educational institutions, schoolchildren and the population of the mahala and youth, implement the necessary organizational and practical measures for the movement of students, students and youth with disabilities health in the Republic.
Also during the week, collective youth visits to cultural heritage sites, museums, theaters and cinemas, shows of theatrical performances demonstrating our history live, the Youth Tourist Caravan project and the island tourism week in the Republic of Karakalpakstan will be organized, organization of high-level reading days, based on the program, meetings will be organized with young people who have achieved high results. Aimed to conduct "master classes" with the participation of exemplary scientists.
It should be noted that “Travel around Uzbekistan!” within the framework of the program, discounts for cultural heritage sites and museums were announced by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
In addition, within the framework of the Week "Uzbekiston Temir Yollari" and "Uzbekistan Airways" for young people traveling in the regions, discounts on intercity bus, air and railway tickets, as well as voluntary discounts on transport services of business entities will be established.

It is worth noting that the "Week of Youth Tourism" will be held in accordance with the Decree of the President from 30 April 2022 "On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services." The event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in cooperation with the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Mahala Support and Education, and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
