Continent Insurance becomes the owner of a 29.13% stake in Kapitalbank

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 November, Continent Insurance LLC acquired 15.69% of the shares of Kapitalbank for 63.9 billion soums by concluding a direct agreement on the over-the-counter market, i.e. at par value of the shares.

Continent Insurance LLC was established in May 2018, has an authorized capital of 117.28 billion soums and the following founders (participants):

▪Abdusamadov Mahsud Abduvaliyevich - 45.90%;

▪Abdusamadov Ravshan Abduvalievich - 44.60%;

▪Start Leasing LLC  – 9.50% (Equal shares belong to Makhsud and Ravshan Abdusamadov).

The authorized capital of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank Kapitalbank is formed in the amount of 407,385,173,100 soums.

The number of shareholders of the bank is 24 legal entities and individuals, of which:

legal entities make up - 7 shareholders

individuals make up - 17 shareholders

Continent Insurance LLC is not listed in the Register of Licenses of Insurance Companies.
