A conference dedicated to the development of MICE tourism to be held in Qoqand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tomorrow, on 29 October 2022, a scientific and practical conference on the theme "Development of business tourism" will be held in the city of Qoqand. 

The event will be organized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to accelerate the development of cooperation in the field of tourism with the Turkic states” from 29 July 2022.

The conference will present reports on the topics: "Prospects for the development of business tourism in the Fergana region", "Ways for the development of the hotel industry in Uzbekistan", "The importance of advertising and marketing in the tourism services market" and others.

MICE tourism is business tourism and is known by this name among entrepreneurs. Today, the services of the MICE industry are used by many enterprises and organizations. All necessary MICE events are organized in Uzbekistan: business meetings, incentive trips and team building, conferences, corporate holidays.

It should be noted that more than 1,000 entrepreneurs are involved in the tourism sector in the Fergana region. Within the framework of the project “Development of the entrepreneurial and business environment” and “Development of CBT-tourism (Community based tourism) in Uzbekistan”, training seminars were organized for the initiators of 12 specialized MSGs on tourism in the Rishtan region and more than 100 family guest houses in the Fergana region.

Currently, there are 27 business tourism facilities in Ferghana, including 10 hotels, 10 celebration halls, 3 large shopping malls, 2 youth centers (co-working), 4 educational institutions and 4 more cultural centers.
