Over 3.8 million Uzbek citizens travelled abroad in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-September 2022, a total of 3.87 million citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan left the republic for tourism purposes, State Committee on Statistics said.

The committee said that 11,200 people travelled abroad for official purposes, 124,100 people to study, 502,900 for leisure and recreation.

About 3.2 million people travelled abroad to visit their relatives and 36,900 people to receive medical services.
