IV World Nomad Games: cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports is developing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The city of Iznik in the province of Bursa, the Republic of Turkey, hosts the World Ethnosport Games.

As part of this event, on 30 September 2022, the 6th meeting of the Ministers for Youth and Sports of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) was held, where the Minister of Sports Development A. Ikramov and Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs A. Sadullayev also took part.

During the 6th meeting, a number of issues were discussed, including the sports agenda of the UTC.

In addition, the ceremony of transferring the "Capital of Youth Initiatives of the Turkic World" from Bukhara to Istanbul was held. And in this regard, issues of organizing events and joint projects that unite young people in this direction were discussed.

Following the meeting, it was decided that the next 7th meeting of the Ministers for Youth and Sports of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) will be held in Azerbaijan in 2023.

In continuation of all this, working meetings were held between the Minister of Sports Development of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov and the Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs A. Sadullayev with foreign colleagues.

On 1 October 2022, a meeting was held with the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan F. Gaipov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of establishing bilateral relations in the direction of physical culture and sports, as well as establishing close contact in the field of youth policy. It was also noted that the meetings of the UTS Ministers for Youth and Sports will make a significant contribution to the promotion of the great Turkic cultural heritage in the world.

The next meeting was held with colleagues from the Kyrgyz Republic. The Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Jamankulov and the Minister of Sports Development of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports, and also expressed mutual desire for its further development.

The next meeting was held with the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey M. Kasapoglu. During the talks, issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports, establishing comprehensive communication in such sports as football, judo, boxing, and weightlifting were discussed.
