The Government of Uzbekistan strongly condemns the provocative attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in London

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to media reports, on 4 August, the building of the Azerbaijani embassy in London was seized by religious radicals. According to Sputnik Azerbaijan, the violators were taken out of the building and detained by the police. It is specified that the staff of the embassy as a result of the incident were not injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan confirmed the attack on the diplomatic mission to the publication.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan strongly condemns the provocative attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Uzbekistan considers absolutely unacceptable any actions that pose a threat to the life and health of employees of diplomatic missions. “We call for a comprehensive investigation of this incident and bringing all those involved to justice,” the ministry said.

The Uzbek side expresses its support for brotherly Azerbaijan in ensuring the security and protection of its citizens abroad.
