Delegation of investment bank Citigroup Inc. visits the Central Bank

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank with a delegation of the investment bank Citigroup Inc., headed by Managing Director David Livingston, the press service of the Central Bank reported. 

During the meeting, members of the delegation were provided with detailed information on ongoing reforms in the field of monetary policy and the banking sector of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that active measures are being taken to further improve monetary policy, ensure the stability of the national currency, reform and ensure the stability of the banking system, and work has also been carried out to stabilize the macroeconomic situation in the country.

In turn, the guests expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the effectiveness of the ongoing reforms in the banking sector of Uzbekistan.

Following the dialogue, the parties expressed their readiness to expand bilateral cooperation.
