Flour prices drop at exchange auctions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over the past period, 44 enterprises of Uzdonmakhsulot JSC put up for sale 45.0 thousand tons of flour of the 1st grade, of which 43.8 thousand tons, or 97%, were sold. Hikmatulla Tillaboev, head of the information service of the Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, announced this.

According to the results of the auctions, the average price of flour of the 1st grade amounted to 4,549.3 thousand soums per ton of products.

As a result of the sale of flour at open exchange auctions and an increase in supply on the market, the cost of one bag of flour on over-the-counter markets decreased from an average of 270-290 thousand soums to 240-260 thousand soums compared to May.
