Uzbekistan allows vaccination of children aged 5 to 11

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to prevent the spread of a new strain of coronavirus infection in our country, taking into account the recommendations of international and national experts and the population, voluntary vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 years against COVID-19 by Pfizer is carried out (with the consent of parents or legal representatives).
This was announced during a briefing by Nurmat ATABEKOV, Deputy Head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service.
Pfizer doses of 0.3 ml were used to vaccinate the population aged 12 years and older, and doses of 0.1 ml will be used to vaccinate children aged 5 to 11 years.
