According to KUNA agency, the sides consisted issues of boosting bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, particularly in the economic domain between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

At the meeting, the sides considered development of trade-economic relations between two nations. Uzbek official said that Tashkent is seeking to enhance mutual cooperation with Kuwait “to the level aspired by the two countries’ leaders.”

Rustam Azimov said that Uzbekistan received US$135 million from the nation by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED). Uzbek official called Kuwait businesses to invest in various sectors of economy of Uzbekistan.
