Uzbekistan participates in OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Belgrade (Serbia) hosted the 22nd session of the OSCE Ministerial Council on 3-4 December 2015.
The heads of the Foreign Ministries of the OSCE considered reports of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić, OSCE Secretary-General Lamberto Zamnnier and discussed actual issues of the agenda, first of all security in the OSCE area.
The decisions, directed at fighting terrorism, corruption, money laundering and other issues related to trans-national threats to security, were adopted.
Next session of the OSCE Ministerial Council will be held in Germany, which will take over presidency in the organization from 1 January 2016.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Uzbek delegation held bilateral meetings with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Spain Ignacio Ibanez, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Daniel Rosenblum, the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.
The sides considered issues of mutual interest.
