Daewoo International to supply spare parts to GM Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- South Korean company Daewoo International signed a contract with GM Uzbekistan for supply of automobile parts.
The Korea Times reported quoting the company that the deal is worth of US$400 million.
Under the deal, Daewoo will supply automobile parts, produced by GM Korea, to GM Uzbekistan. The trading company established business ties with the Uzbek side last year under which it has exported auto parts worth US$163 million to GM Uzbekistan.
Parts exported by Daewoo will be used to produce eight models, including Captiva, Orlando, Nexia, Cobalt and Laceti, which are available in Uzbekistan and other countries in that region.
