About 120,000 children receive information on their rights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in cooperation with the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and Association on support of children and family organized several educational programmes to explain child rights at over 50 summer camps of Uzbekistan.
According to the press service of the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, about 120,000 children attended the programmes.
During the educational programmes, the participants received information of the law “On guarantees of child right”. There were also sessions on patriotism, tolerance and friendly attitude to children with special needs.
They also improved their knowledge on national and international standards on ensuring rights of children with special needs, tolerance in thinking and behavior, develop an understanding of tolerance as the ability to accept people as they are.
