UzLiDeP faction discuss several draft laws

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Faction of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan held a session on 14 April, which was attended by members of the factions, experts and specialists.
The session considered draft laws, which were included to discussion at the plenary session of the Legislative Chamber.
At the meeting, the MPs considered a draft law “On electronic commerce” in new edition, which is directed at creating new legal, economic, organizational and technical conditions for developing electronic commerce. The document is directed at using electronic agreements.
MPs underlined that the draft law will simplify process of registering and controlling agreements in sphere of electronic commerce, improve use of electronic signatures, storage and use of electronic documents and other electronic information related to the electronic commerce. They also considered proposals on improving mechanisms on registration of electronic documents and related by-laws.
It was underlined that the draft law will serve as firm bases for social-economic development of the country, introduce new stage of interaction between consumers and producers, use of electronic commerce in economic activities, etc.
MPs said that international practice was also considered at developing the draft law directed at regulating electronic commerce sphere.
MPs presented their proposals and recommendations on further improving the draft law.
At the sessions, the MPs discussed several issues and adopted corresponding decisions of the faction on them.
