Uzbekneftegaz interested in Russian nanotechnologies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (FIEP) of ROSNANO started to cooperation with leading Uzbek oil mining company Uzbekneftegaz, a strategic partner of Russia’s Gazprom, the press service of ROSNANO said.
During the meeting, carried out with representatives of the Uzbek company in Tashkent, Uzbekneftegaz familiarized with proposals of the FIEP on introduction of Russian nanotechnologic products in oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan.
The Russian company presented solution in ecologic and industrial security, energy saving and efficiency, security of objects, as well as resource saving. The special attention was paid to products, which successfully used in oil and gas industry of Russia such as cleaning water, receiving technical gas from air and utilization of flare oil gas, security and reliability of gas pipelines, etc.
The Russian company presented autonomous uninterruptible power sources based on lithium-ion batteries, as well as modular solutions from composite materials for the construction of temporary and permanent roads and construction sites in areas with complex geological conditions.
The sides reached agreement that the delegation of Uzbekneftegaz will visit production sites, which produce nanotechnologies, in Russia.
