Uzbek textile institute receives modern Japanese equipment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI) received a modern weaving equipment TOYOTA JAT 810 within an initiative on improving training process of textile specialists.
The initiative is directed at creating modern educational center for training highly skilled specialists in the sphere of spinning and weaving technologies.
The Center will train specialists for textile enterprises and students of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
The project envisages equipment of Tashkent Institute with modern technologic equipment for spinning. It is also planned to equip the Institute with modern weaving equipment for production of various fabrics.
The project on creation of center and its equipment by Toyota is financed due to resources of the Japan Government.
Indorama Qoqand Textile provided cotton yarn to the Institute, while employees of Osborn agreed to prepare cotton yarn to use at weaving equipment.
Within the ceremony, Uzbekyengilsanoat, TOYOTA TSHUSHO CORPORATION and Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry signed a memorandum of understanding, which envisages cooperation to develop textile industry in Uzbekistan.
