Tashkent holds issues of expanding export potential of enterprises on production of construction materials

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent hosted a roundtable dedicated to further expansion of production and export potential of enterprises on production of construction materials.
According to UzA, the roundtable was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Fund for support of exports of small businesses and private entrepreneurship.
The industry on production of construction materials takes place an important role in economy of Uzbekistan. The industry carries out regular work on improving quality of construction materials and introducing high technological equipment and technologies.
One of important directions of the developing the industry is to increase level of diversification, expansion of goods assortment, saturation of internal market with modern and high quality construction materials, etc.
Uzbekistan implemented 120 investment projects in the industry of construction materials in 2005-2010. This helped to increase assortment and the volume of produced construction materials in the country.
Fund for support of exports of small business and private entrepreneurship was created in Uzbekistan in August 2013. The fund was founded under the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity.
Director of the Fund D. Mustafaev said that the main goal of the fund is to assist and promote small businesses, which want to start to export their goods abroad. He said that the fund is ready to help to increase production of competitive goods and promote them to external markets.
At the roundtable, the participants familiarized with the activities of the fund and its opportunities to promote goods at external markets.
