LUKOIL Uzbekistan launches new workers’ town in Khauzak field

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- LUKOIL Uzbekistan, a single operator of mining projects of LUKOIL in Uzbekistan, commissioned a new workers’ town in Khauzak field.
New workers’ town, designed for over 230 people, was constructed as additional to the existing town in Khauzak field, the company said.
The construction of additional workers’ town in Khauzak is connected with launch of development of new field at Northern Shady within the implementation of the project “Early gas – Kandym”.
The company said that contractors from Uzbekistan implemented all works in time and in line with technologic requirements despite difficult weather conditions.
The workers’ city has all necessary conditions for employees. The complex has three habitation complex, city, parking sight, repair shop, fitness hall and sport field. Each habitation complex can accept 79 people.
The new workers’ city already accepted the first guests. The premises are equipped with air conditioners and heating equipment, cloth washing rooms, etc.
