Durbek Amanov becomes of Uzbek envoy to Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Germany Durbek Amanov handed over his credentials to the Federal President of Germany Joachim Gauck in Berlin, Jahon news agency reported.
After the ceremony, the sides discussed issues of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Germany, the report said.
Joachim Gauck said that Germany considers Uzbekistan as its important partner in Central Asia and interested in strengthening cooperation on wide-range of issues. It was noted that two states have friendly relations and great potential for developing bilateral ties.
At the end of the talks, German President expressed hope for further boosting bilateral interaction and wished success and prosperity to leadership and people of Uzbekistan.
Durbek Amanov replaced Dilshod Ahatov at this post. It is worth to mention that the head of diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan in Germany is also envoy of Uzbekistan to the Czech Republic.
