Two more colleges to train people with disabilities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted decision on giving status of professional collage for people with disabilities to Tashkent and Samarkand specialized industrial professional colleges from 2013-2014 academic year.
The decision was adopted to create equal conditions to access to children with limited liabilities to receive secondary special and professional education.
According to the resolution, organization, educational and rehabilitation process, financing and material-technical support, envisaged by the legislation of Uzbekistan, will be applied to these two colleges.
The resolution of the Government also introduced changes to regulation on specialized professional colleges for people with disabilities.
In line with the changes, people with mental problems will also have right to study at the specialized professional colleges.
