Uzbekistan to build 455 km of internal roads

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures on completion of internal roads in rural blocks of individual houses” on 22 July 2013.
The resolution said that some 193.2 km of internal roads has been built at 350 blocks within the programmes on development of housing construction in rural areas since 2009.
The inventory revealed that 454.7 km of roads at 588 blocks of individual houses should be constructed. The resolution said that these roads will be constructed in 2013.
The document said that 227.4 km of roads will be asphalt-concrete pavement and 227.3 km of roads – cement-concrete pavement. Uzbekistan will direct 57.73 billion soums to road constructions.
The construction of roads will be financed due to local and republican budgets, as well as other sources.
