Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova paid a visit to Tashkent on the invitation of Metropolitan of Tashkent and Uzbekistan Vikentiy and on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty.
The first official event of the Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova was a visit to the Office of the Rossotrudnichestva (Russian Cooperation) in Uzbekistan. Employees of the center welcomed Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova, her daughter Tatyana Little and Metropolitan Vikentiy.
Valeriy Kayer conducted short excursion through the Russian Center for Science and Culture, its educational classes, library and exhibition of books, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty.
Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova briefed the participants on the charity Fund led by her and its activities. She offered to provide publications to the library of the Russian Center for Science and Culture.
Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova also participated at the roundtable dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty, which was organized by the Embassy of Russia in Uzbekistan and the Russian Center for Science and Culture.
Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova said that Romanov Dynasty made a lot to development of Uzbekistan. Nikolai Romanov built palaces and channels, she said. He also developed local industry, culture and art, she said.
At the end of the ceremony, medals “The 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty” were handed over to several people, including Russian envoy to Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenov, Metropolitan Vikentiy and Valeriy Kayer, etc.
Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova visited the Republican Musical Academic Lyceum named after Uspensky, which hosted a concert. The concert was given by students of the lyceum, who won national and international contests.
Later, Grand Duchess Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova watched the drama “The King of Jews”, which was written by Konstantin Romanov.
