PKNM supplies equipment for NGMK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of companies Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company (PKNM, Russia) delivered the second party of equipment for drilling well to uranium field to Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK), the press service of the Russian firm said.
In May 2012, PKNM signed two contracts on supply of drill collars and kelly joints for Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK). The Russian company supplied the first party of drilling equipment within the first contract in August 2012.
The second party included 105 drill collars and kelly pipes, which makes up main part of drill mounting. The company also delivered 920 units of locks, including safe ones.
In 2012, sleeves supplied equipment to NGMK for 56.5 million rubles, and 42 million rubles is the cost of the second contract.
Vladimir Jarennikov, PKNM director, said that the company supplies non-standard equipment to NGMK as uranium production is difficult and dangerous process.
