Standard & Poor's reviews ratings of four Uzbek banks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has reviewed its ratings on four banks of Uzbekistan by applying its new ratings criteria for banks.
In the result, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed the 'CCC' long-term and 'C' short-term counterparty credit ratings to Amirbank. The outlook is positive.
The agency said that it upgraded “B” long-term counterparty credit rating of Halk Bank to “B+” and affirmed 'B' short-term rating. The outlook is positive.
Long-term counterparty credit rating of Kapitalbank was raised from ‘B-’ to ‘B’, while ‘C’ short-term rating was affirmed. The outlook is positive.
Standard & Poor's also upgraded long-term counterparty credit ratings of National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan and Uzpromstroybank from ‘B’ to ‘B+’, affirming short-term ratings at ‘B’. The outlook is positive.
